"Peanuts" animator Bill Melendez dies at 91.

I've been a fan since I was a kid. The only sadder event was when Schulz passed away.

I have Mr. Melendez's autograph at home; my brother got it for me when he attended a Peanuts exhibit in the U.S. and saw, to his surprise, Mr. Melendez seated at a table entertaining fans.

Thanks very much for the cartoons, Mr. Melendez. When you sit down and get to enjoy another root beer with Mr. Schulz, do say "Hi" to him for us, please.
