What Do You Think...

...of a digital, online version of PGS? No more print version.

I'm not saying it's going to be done, 'kay? Just asking. Everything's up in the air.

Your opinions, thoughts, please?

i'd hate to state the obvious but one, you'd be open for a lot more audience than the print version. i have a hard time finding PGS in bookstores. but i'll always be able to get to an electronic version provided the url to it is published well (facebook, twitter, multiply can help)

more art + more stories = much better.

unfortunately, the draw back is that you won't be able to cash in on your efforts. publishing on paper, you get to sell something...publishing electronically, you save a lot of money but you don't get to sell anything unless you go the advertisement route...

but then again it isn't about the moolah, right? it's about inspiring people to read and to write...

oh well. i'd gobble up both options anyhoo.

I'm all for electronic publication, but it has to be done right. Going the way of a web site allows you to put out stories on a more regular basis; in fact, that's the way to go. Readership tends to dip if you update infrequently and irregularly.

There's still plenty of appeal to producing a printed copy, though. Perhaps that can come out as an annual anthology, sort of like The Best of PGS.

Keep the paper.

Go electronic, but keep the paper.

yes, keep both. Publish all the stories online but publish only the best stories in print. That way you can publish a "Best of Philippine Genre Stories" every six months.
