I find it interesting that the percentage of preferred ebook reader (iPad) is almost inversely proportional to the percentage of sales source (Amazon). I personally use the iPad 2 to read my ebooks but I'm not a big fan of the Kindle app for it so I use iBook. I guess you have to try reading a mobi or prc book on a real Kindle to get what people are saying about it being perfect for ebooks.
@sipineda: I don't have an iPad (though I've handled some a few times). But I do own a Kindle. It is a good e-reader. The battery life is very good, and I like that the screen reads like paper.
