Wanted: Editor (Update)

A friend of mine is in need of an editor. The job includes a lot of proofreading and language editing, pointing out information that's lacking, and highlighting unclear texts (with suggested rewrites). The project is 250 pages long, a non-profit resource book. The book is funded by UNESCO Philippines (Social and Human Sciences Committee), and will be distributed to public school teachers. The lower the price for the job (but not a lower-quality of editing) the better, as this will mean there'll be a bigger budget for printing more copies, meaning more books for more teachers. Updated: The person in need of an editor has received all the emails, and is now considering them. Since the project is a non-profit venture, the budget isn't very big. She might be more amenable to a quote that's for the whole project than on a per-page basis. If you wish, you can update your quotes, those of you who sent in per page quotes. Just write in your email that you're updating your quotes, if you still consider the project worth your while. Thanks!
