Fil-Canadian Film Critic Alexis Tioseco Shot

We're in the middle of this year's Chinese ghost month (on the western calendar, it began on August 20, the fifteenth day is on September 3, the last day is September 18). Just before ghost month began, this happened. Early into the month, there was this. Now, film critic Alexis Tioseco (1981-2009), who has shared with us his many movie reviews, has passed away. He died in his residence on Times St. in Quezon City (yes, the same street where President Cory Aquino lived). I really do hope the perpetrators of the crime are caught and brought to justice. Here's a letter he wrote to his partner, Nika, who died with him.
